NMC Competence Test Centre

University of Northumbria

Breaking News:

  • We have reviewed the approach taken to the assessment of IHR and have decided that the examiners will no longer give a prompt to candidates about their rate and depth of chest compressions during the station so as to fully assess the candidate’s ability to complete the task without any form of instruction.

  • The test centre at Northumbria are currently experiencing a slight delay in issuing test results. This is partly due to staff sickness and the level of moderation taking place to ensure that our new test centre is being consistent and fair to all our candidates. The team is working longer hours during the week and at weekend to reduce this waiting time and ensure candidates get their results as soon as possible. if you have any individual concerns, please contact us here. We continue to write to candidates with their anticipated result date, and we will continue to do this over the coming weeks.
